On the beach (New project)
Aquascape exhibit #2
My new project is centred around creating a beach escape aquascape, inspired by the tranquility and natural beauty experienced during my recent summer holidays. Drawing on the soft textures of sandy shorelines, the gentle movement of aquatic plants evoking sea grasses, and carefully chosen stones, the design aims to bring a peaceful, serene atmosphere into the home. This aquascape captures the essence of oceanic calm, offering a subtle retreat that embodies the soothing qualities of the seaside, allowing viewers to reconnect with nature and unwind within their own space.
On the beach
Aquascape exhibit #1
Creating an aquascape inspired by holidays at the beach offers a serene and refreshing underwater landscape that captures the essence of coastal relaxation. Incorporate elements such as fine white sand to mimic pristine shorelines, smooth pebbles, and driftwood that resemble weathered beach timber. Choose aquatic plants with flowing, grass-like leaves to evoke the gentle sway of seaside grasses in the breeze. Small shells and miniature coral replicas can enhance the visual appeal, while subtle blue and turquoise hues in the background lighting recreate the calming colours of the sea. This design not only brings the tranquility of the beach into your aquarium but also provides a naturalistic environment for your aquatic life
